Our Differences Set Us Apart
Nutrition
Glenwood Day School provides each child at our center with breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack daily. These meals and snack will provide your children with over 1/2 of their recommended daily servings from each of the four food groups. We serve a wide variety of meals, with most main courses made from "scratch." Depending on the age of the child, we serve either whole or low fat milk. Infants are served our food when they are ready for table food. If your child is breastfed, you are welcome at any time to visit and feed your infant; we have seating available for you.

Our Playground
We are proud to provide two separate playgrounds for the children we serve. With shade, sand, climbing structures and an open field for organized sports, our playgrounds offer something for everyone! We have our own private in-ground pool which is open during the summer for children ages 3 - 12 years. Our pool is 2 feet deep at the shallow end and reaches 4 feet in depth. We employ a certified lifeguard each summer.

Field Trips
We believe that field trips offer children a unique opportunity for learning... a chance to experience things first hand. Field trips for children in Pre-K through school age are scheduled and announced in advance. All costs of field trips are covered by quarterly supply fees, paid every three months. Age appropriate field trips include visiting area libraries, museums, public pools, area parks, local skating rink, local bowling alleys, and entertainment centers.
